National Legal Center for the Public Interest (NLCPI) is a nonpartisan, educational and public service foundation concerned with issues of public policy which relate to law or to the administration of justice. It was created in 1975 to bring balance into the courts in the defense of citizens' rights, the freedom of private enterprise, and the reduction of excessive government regulation. The Center does not litigate. It fulfills its mission through its educational publications and forums.
